We started the day at a shopping center for me to buy a Sim card for my old phone that I can use in Italy. Then the day really got rolling. I tried to kill Dick by taking him on a death march in Siena. We parked at the stadium which required about a 20 minute walk into the main part of town. We visited many of the major sites in central Siena...the campo (a central piazza that is the site of the Palio, an annual crazy horse race), the main cathedral including the crypt and baptistry, a museum that is connected to a tower that requires a 45 min or so wait to climb the gazillion steps to the top....didn't do that.

All of these required climbing and descending many steps, lots of backtracking and MANY hours. Hit a couple of grocery stores and came home for a home made dinner. We both were dead! We were in bed at 8:30 and didn't get up for almost 12 hours.
